Pebbles' new memoir is a testament to the human spirit encountering God in the most difficult trials. Throughout her lifelong chronic condition, she discovers that 'we don't get through by working harder but by learning to rest better.' When Pebbles rests in the Lord, she realizes that although the physical, emotional, and spiritual pain will continue in her present life, she is able to carry her cross because her Savior is carrying it with her.
