Where Hope Walks Barefoot

Walk with me
across the meadow
where morning spills gold
over rain-soaked wildflowers
and yesterday’s storm
still trembles on their petals.
Come barefoot.
Let the earth feel your scars.
Let the grass brush against
the places life has bruised.
There will be days
when the world becomes winter,
when the wind strips your branches bare
and impossible stands before you
like a mountain swallowing the sun.
Days when your soul whispers,
I cannot take one more step.
Walk with me anyway.
Because trembling feet
still leave footprints.
Broken clouds
still surrender to sunlight.
And flowers crushed beneath the storm
still remember
how to turn their faces toward heaven.
Do not let the world
steal the sunrise from your smile.
Let your smile become
the crack where light slips
into someone else’s darkness.
Be the wildflower
that rises through stone.
Be the ember
the storm could not drown.
Be the tiny seed
that mistakes burial for darkness
until suddenly—
it blooms.
You may never know
whose heart kept walking
because they saw your light.
One smile can move
like wind across a meadow—
touching one flower,
then another,then another—
until an entire field
begins to dance.
So walk with me.
Across the scars.
Through the rain.
Beyond impossible.
Scatter kindness like wildflower seeds
and leave little pieces of sunrise
wherever your feet have been.
Because sometimes
changing the world
doesn't begin with thunder.
Sometimes—
it begins with one smile
refusing to surrender its light.
